Registration of Indian nationals on long term stay in Croatia

All Indian nationals coming to Croatia for long term stay are kindly advised to register themselves with the Embassy of India, Zagreb. The registration form can be downloaded from here and sent to: hoc@indianembassy.hr with a copy to cons.zagreb@mea.gov.in.

Notice prohibiting use of satellite phones in India

All visitors to India may note that satellite telephone services are not permitted in India unless specifically authorized by the Government of India and use of handsets of Thuraya, Irridium and other such satellite operators is prohibited under the relevant Indian laws. Any person, including foreign tourists / visitors, found to be making unauthorized use of satellite telephone services will be prosecuted and the sets found in their possesion will be seized.

Notice for visa seekers entering into surrogacy arrangements

Any person seeking a visa to India for the purpose of entering into a surrogacy arrangement must ascertain beforehand whether the law of the applicant's country permits surrogacy and will provide appropriate travel documents to the child for accompanying the surrogate parents. Entering into surrogacy arrangements under any other visa not sought for surrogacy is punishable under Indian law.
